Beijing Albatros Travel Service Co., Ltd is is a Wholly Foreign Owned Travel Agency (WOFTA) owned by Albatros Travel and The Danish State Industrialisation Fund for Developing Countries (IFU).

 The company functions as a DMC for our Scandinavian clients (Denmark, Sweden, Norway and Finland) but we also work with MICE groups and more uniquely composed travel itineraries. This includes clients from Iran, India and Germany. 

 In addition to the DMC function, we also promote and facilitate B2B sales of Albatros Travel products in China. These products include: 

• Artic cruises to Svalbard, Iceland, East and West coast of Greenland. 81 Degrees North

• Land based products in Greenland. (Photography trips, trekking, Polar Circle Marathon)

• Land based products in East Africa (Tanzania, Photography trip, Safari)

• Self-drive in Scandinavia for Chinese families.

 I, Anders Ellemann Kristensen, have had 10 years of working experience in the tourism Industry. The main focus has been on Asian destinations. I have been a tour manager, a local guide, sales manager and general manager for different travel agencies in China, India and Nepal. On occasion I guide high-end Chinese clients on our trips to the Artic.

 The bulk of my time is spend on managing Beijing Albatros Travel. On a daily basis I am trying to create new sales channels, systemizing our financial and operational reporting systems to match the requirements set by our head office. In addition I also focus on training and instructing employees, so we can adapt Scandinavian products and minds to Chinese consumers. 

 All of this is driven by the joy of being part of the greatest travel show on earth with more than 120 million potential outbound travellers waiting for the right travel offer.
